This is the first area aboard the actual station of which all new arrivals will see. To the aft are the auxiliary docks, which are for the [[ERT]] and [[Admin]] shuttles. Fore are the escape pods for Arrivals, and starboard is the arrivals checkpoint. Between the arrivals checkpoint and the axillary docks are several doors to the maintenance shafts and one to the vacant office. Next to the doors to the escape pods, there is another door to the maintenance shafts. There are several vending machines and internals closets lying around as well. There is also a lounge area in the center, with several vending machines on the other side of the wall. Starboard from here is the Port Central Hallway, leading to the rest of the station. Of course, most arrivals are pre-assigned, and are allowed to bypass the security checkpoint fore of the lounge area. The security checkpoint is often lacking in staff, forcing new arrivals to go to the Head of Personnel's Office instead.
